PokéSurvivor Save Progress: Guest, Account and Updates
Separate current browser guest behavior from account saves and the AYN Thor fork’s update notes before trusting a PokéSurvivor save claim.
Three different save cases
| Case | What was checked |
|---|---|
| Current browser guest | The login and main menu explicitly say the guest session is not saved. |
| Original repository README | Contains an older/general description of local browser storage and optional cloud configuration. |
| AYN Thor v1.4 | Publisher says it installs over v1.3 and retains the app save; this is an author statement, not our restoration test. |
These statements describe different contexts. An old local-storage note is not a guarantee that a current guest session will survive closing the game.
Before changing versions or devices
- Identify the exact browser origin or Android package you are using.
- Check whether the current session is a guest or an account session.
- Read the release notes for the exact update you plan to use.
- Check progress again after signing in on the original service. If it is missing, keep the original installation intact and consult the publisher’s support path.
Do not clear site data, uninstall the app or switch to a mirror as a troubleshooting shortcut when a save matters. This guide has no access to your save and cannot promise recovery.
The v1.4 change relevant to account access
The Android publisher’s v1.4 note describes a Firebase project change and says another sign-in may be required. Keep this separate from our current browser guest observation. Reinstalling, signing in and merging a cloud save were not tested in this session.
